About Me:

Dale Crighton and the Crighton family have long been regarded as one of the premiere developers in the Cayman Islands and have gained the respect of the community through their integrity and generosity. Dale Crighton is the managing partner of Equipment Ltd., which is the islands largest land reclamation and development company. To date, Equipment Ltd has reclaimed/developed the Islands largest developments, which include the Ritz Carlton, Cayman Shores, Crystal Harbour, Sunrise Landing, Limestone and Vista Del Mar Phase II. In addition, he and his family have also developed and own many large subdivisions and residential communities which include Savannah Meadows, Savannah Acres, Beach Bay Heights, Beach Bay Glades, The Cays at Rum Pointe’, Lalique Pointe’ and Crystal Harbour. The Crighton group of companies also has various commercial holdings, which include The Crighton Building, warehouses and other associated commercial properties.    From the early 70’s, the Crighton family has helped pioneer the real estate industry in the Cayman Islands and own one of the oldest and most respected real estate companies on the island. As Managing Director, Dale Crighton is involved in every aspect of the business on a day-to-day basis, which includes real estate sales and development, heavy equipment, construction, commercial rentals, insurance and more recently, tourism based, restaurant and security related businesses. Dale is a past Chairman of the Trade and Business Licensing Board, a position where he served for 8 years. He has also been a member of the Planning Appeals Tribunal for approximately 14 years and is a past president of the Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association where he has also served as a Board Member for some 16 years. Education Valedictorian    - Triple C School, Grand Cayman - 1984 BBA, Minor in fFnance - Stetson University, Deland, FL - 1985-1989 Professional Experience and Significant Achievements Crighton Properties Ltd. - 1988-1996 -Marketing manager responsible for sales and product development. -Lead valuator. 1997-present     -Director and project manager for all developments within the Crighton Group including Equipment Ltd, Crewe Road Tile and numerous other companies. -Director and shareholder in other companies outside the Crighton Group which include Dolphin Discovery Cayman, The Security Centre, Grand Old House Restaurant, One Capital Place, Cayman Travel Services, Garden of Reflections Cemetery.
